 BioVer-X is the result of groundbreaking research out of the University of New Mexico.

After a decade of searching for molecules that out-perform Resveratrol (a potent ingredient in high-end skin products), scientists have identified a variant of Resveratrol that is 10X more potent.

What Exactly Is BioVer-X?

BioVer-X is based on the structure of a natural molecule (Resveratrol). Resveratrol is found in the skin of grapes, and in red wine. When you hear of a study of why red wine is good for heart health, longevity and skin, it is because of the resveratrol molecule.  High-end skin care products often contain resveratrol. 

The backbone structure of BioVer-X is similar to resveratrol, with some slight chemical modifications. Scientists at the University of New Mexico have studied the molecule for over decade. They showed that the modifications give it 10 times more anti-inflammatory properties and 6 times more anti-oxidant properties than resveratrol.

The data demonstrates that it is non-toxic, topically as well as ingested.

In addition to the decade of University studies, we have been testing the BioVer-X Serum for over a year at K&K.  The results for reducing the appearance of wrinkles, acne scars and stretch marks are similar to results from invasive procedures such as laser treatments, fillers and injections.

Kristina is a scientist, professor and total "nerd". Together, they combine the best aspects of nature and science to create simple, effective and potent skin care products.

Kristina Trujillo, Ph.D

Dr. Trujillo received her Ph.D. from New Mexico State in 2006. She was a professor and researcher at the University of New Mexico, School of Medicine for over 10 years. During this time, she published 22 peer-reviewed articles and received over 2 million dollars in grants from NIH (R21, R01), American Cancer Society and DOD.  Dr. Trujillo partnered with Katie in 2018 to get the breakthrough BioVer-X molecule into the real-world through cosmetic applications.

 In her teens, Katie experienced severe eczema on her legs, arms and hands. The doctors could never figure it out, and she was never formally diagnosed.  She tried hundreds of variations of products - some of which were epic fails. However, her curiosity and determination lead her to finally create products that healed her skin in the way that the steroid cream never could. In 2018, she partnered with Dr. Kristina Trujillo to further develop her oils and combine them with BioVer-X to enhance their properties.
